B#6 Study Guide went home today for their extended time test (90 minutes) on Wednesday.  This study guide is created directly from the test.  Students will be successful if they complete this guide and ask questions about ones they need additional assistance with.

Mixed -> Improper:  Rewrite all mixed numbers as decimals using benchmark fractions, then convert to improper fractions.

Improper->Mixed:  Convert improper fractions to mixed numbers, then rewrite benchmark fractions into decimals.

Convert Mixed to Improper by rewriting each whole number as whole fractions added to the remaining part.
Convert Improper to Mixed by using division and writing the remainder over the original denominator.
Students should rewrite all mixed numbers as decimals.
